Annual Luncheon
Each year hundreds of nonprofit and foundation professionals gather in honor of one change-making woman in philanthropy at CWIP's Annual Luncheaon. This year's 30th Anniversary luncheon and Making a Difference Awards ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. February 10 at The Standard Club.
This year's keynote speaker and Making a Difference award recipient is native Chicagoan Aurie Pennick, Executive Director and Treasure of the Field Foundation of Illinois. Aurie is responsible for over 60 million dollars in foundation assets and has been the recipient of numerous awards and appointments. Aurie began her career in philanthropy as a fellow in the Chicago Community Trust's Minority Fellowship Program, then went on to hold the position of Assistant Director for Special Grants with John D. and Catherine MacCarthur Foundation.
In the years past, the following prestigious women have been honored for their contribution to philanthropy in Chicago:
